A weekly band for young musicians at Newbold Church.

JAM brings children and young people together to play as a band. Every Thursday we learn new songs, practise playing together and enjoy time with friends.

About us

We are two dads who love music, love worship and really enjoy playing music with our kids. One day we thought: why not give other children the chance to enjoy the same?

We started in January 2024. Today more than 30 children are part of JAM, and around 20 come regularly.

We both had people invest in us when we were growing up, in South Africa and Serbia. JAM is our way of saying thank you, and we hope our kids will pay it forward one day.

What we do

We learn contemporary Christian songs and explore how each instrument fits into a band. Our leaders are experienced musicians who help every player grow in confidence.

We also play regularly at services in local churches.
